  Barbeque - The Secrets Revealed

      There are thousands of ways to barbeque. Lightning probably provided the first taste of BBQ to the cavemen. Great barbeque depends on three things: The meat, the sauce and the fire.

     The meat is the easy part. At Sunset Run we buy only the highest quality meats available.

     The sauce is a more important part of the secret. Our Own Original Jack Daniels Sauce is a result of years of experimenting. For those who like a bigger bite to their sauce, we also make a sauce that is much hotter, we add habanero chilies.

     The third part of the secret to great barbeque is the part that is least understood...the fire. The type of wood used to smoke the meat dramatically affects how the flavors of the meats and sauce work together. We have experimented with many different woods. Each wood and sauce combination tastes different.

     The secret is the right wood for the right meat. We use apple, and pecan with each type of meat.
